We make every introduction count.
Founders’ time is too valuable for introductions that go nowhere. We learn what makes each venture distinctive and what it needs next—then open doors with purpose.
Who We Are
Global Connect Nexus connects ambitious companies with a curated network of investors, corporates, universities, governments and ecosystem partners around the world.
Through experienced local partners and dedicated GCN support, we help members understand each market, reach credible decision-makers and arrange relevant introductions. We then help coordinate the practical next steps—from initial exploration and validation to partnerships and market entry.
Our centre at Singapore Science Park anchors the network, while our global relationships bring members closer to the people and opportunities that can move them forward.
The world holds more opportunities than any founder can explore alone. But chasing introductions that lead nowhere consumes time founders could spend building, learning and growing.
We are building a global network that connects founders to the right people, local knowledge and practical next steps—so less effort is wasted and more promising ideas reach their potential.
Founders’ time is too valuable for introductions that go nowhere. We learn what makes each venture distinctive and what it needs next—then open doors with purpose.
Our global network of trusted partners shares on-the-ground insight and relationships, helping members approach each market with greater confidence and direction.
Our network opens doors from Singapore to markets abroad—and helps overseas companies use Singapore to explore opportunities across Southeast Asia, Australia, China and India.
From market discovery to potential pilots and partnerships, we help members turn early interest into clear next steps.
CEO, Global Connect Nexus
Expanding into a new market can be difficult. Companies need more than introductions—they need someone who understands innovation, knows how ecosystems work and can help turn promising conversations into practical next steps.
Kevin Leung leads Global Connect Nexus with that purpose.
Previously at NUS Enterprise, Kevin Leung helped establish National GRIP (Graduate Research Innovation Programme), Singapore’s S$50 million initiative to turn deep-tech research across universities and research institutes into viable ventures. Building on NUS GRIP, launched in 2018, the national programme aims to nurture more than 150 spin-offs by 2030.
That work gave Kevin firsthand experience in bringing researchers, founders, investors and industry partners together around promising technologies. Combined with his entrepreneurial experience across Canada, China, Hong Kong and Singapore, his international perspective helps GCN members navigate unfamiliar markets with greater confidence, connect with relevant decision-makers and focus on opportunities with genuine potential.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
At GCN, Kevin brings together technical understanding, venture-building experience and an extensive cross-border outlook to create a more direct path for companies seeking international growth.
